As a freshman pursuing a career in environmental science and ecology, I bring a unique blend of experiences from various roles that have shaped my work ethic and skill set. My journey began in the service industry, where I honed valuable skills such as multitasking, communication, and teamwork. From my time as a cashier/cook at HTeaO to my current role as a server and "headwait" at Rock & Brews, I've learned to thrive in fast-paced environments while delivering exceptional customer experiences.Transitioning from the hospitality sector to sports officiating as a soccer referee, I further developed my ability to remain calm under pressure, make split-second decisions, and maintain fairness and integrity—a role that led me to become the youngest referee to officiate a U18 MLS Next matches as young as 17.These diverse experiences have instilled in me a strong sense of adaptability, resilience, and problem-solving skills—qualities essential for navigating the complexities of environmental science and ecology. I am driven by a passion for sustainability and environmental conservation, and I am eager to leverage my skills and experiences to make meaningful contributions to the field.
