I went on to represent Great Britain and England over the next 14 years for both team and Individual attaining in excess of 20 international medals peaking with the ultimate accolade of 'World Champion'.I first became a Karate Instructor in 1987 and since produced numerous National Champions ranging from juniors through to senior categories and European championship medalists.Along side my competitive career I have worked extensively in the security industry undertaking roles ranging from door supervision, security chauffeuring and close protection. Coupled with a strong martial arts background I am a qualified level 3 physical intervention and conflict management instructor specializing in self defense and street combat techniques.After retiring from the sport I became a practicing sports therapist and taught sports therapy at a local college for a number of years and in 2011 became the National Kumite coach for the English Karate Federation.
