Lead a skilled team of financial, tax, legal and business professionals within a family owned private trust company, serving as trustee, providing objective and customized advice in the areas of fiduciary services, tax planning and compliance, financial counseling, estate planning guidance, risk management, philanthropic support and financial education.

• Manages an internal team of industry professionals specializing in the delivery of investment management, financial reporting, tax, legal, human resource, philanthropic and concierge services tailored specifically to three high net worth, multi-generational households within a “single-family” family office. • Engage, manage and review the relationships with external domestic/international investment advisors supporting the family’s global investment program. • Oversee strategic relationships with external accounting and legal professionals in the development, implementation and administration of specialized tax, insurance/risk management, financial and estate planning advice.• Partner with external legal counsel in the origination, review and execution of “at will” employment and independent contractor agreements, asset acquisition/disposition contracts and real estate leases. • Orchestrate with executive team the scheduling, preparation and presentation content for semi-annual family business retreat meetings.• Coordinate with the CEO of the family’s actively managed business activities in the due diligence, exit strategy and disposition of real estate and special situation/private equity transactions.• Directly supervise Chief Pilot’s oversight of flight company operations, including annual budgeting, staff administration, aircraft scheduling and maintenance, pilot recurrent training/certification, fuel farm and local airport authority/FAA Parts 91 and 135 compliance. • Primary contact responsible for concierge services, next generation education, human resource, property/facilities management and operational administration for each family household.

• Managed nine Private Bank client teams providing financial advice and solutions to high net-worth clients through an integrated delivery of custom-tailored investment management, credit, trust, and depository services within five private bank offices throughout Southwest Florida (Bradenton, Sarasota, Venice, Fort Myers and Naples).• Responsible for the development, implementation and achievement of annual market budget and financial plan for an enterprise with approximately $4.3B in AUM, $100MM in funded credit facilities and $33MM in total revenue for FY 2004.• Administered various human resource functions for approximately 45 employees; including recruiting, on-boarding, separations, goal setting/performance reviews, promotions and compensation administration. • Evaluated client suitability for a full suite of investment options (money market, equities, debt instruments, derivatives, private equity, real estate and hedge funds) including proprietary offerings as well as those externally managed.• Monitored external managers and consultants for adherence to stated investment objectives, style drift identification, turnover and benchmark performance.• Supervised client investment policy statement formation and periodic portfolio reviews.• Conducted principal review/approval for all new accounts and trading activity.• Ensured OSJ branch operational procedures were consistent with compliance policies and procedures. • Cultivated and fostered external professional relationships and centers of influence specializing in estate planning, accounting and risk management.
