Since November 2012, Mr. Thompson has served as the Contract Administrator/Office Manager of NuGlobal Solutions, LLC (formerly NewFields Government Services, LLC) (NGS).  He organizes office operations and procedures; controls correspondence; designs filing systems; and reviews supply needs.  He provides historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.  Mr. Thompson maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.  He keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; and identifying trends.    Mr. Thompson is proficient in Federal government contract management programs.  He used Deltek Vision for eight years to produce Work-in-Progress reports as well as Direct Expense and Labor reports.  When the company switched to PROCAS, he was integral in shifting projects and tasks into the new system.  He was forward in the saddle during the transition to ensure a seamless invoicing cycle.  He collects contracted labor timesheets, approves them and enters the information to ensure labor costs are tracked and subcontractors are paid quickly.  He conducts floor checks on employee timesheets to ensure DCAA compliance.  He edits and reviews documents for proposals, conducts marketing calls with prospective government clients, manages project documentation per contract requirements and carries out all daily tasks of managing an office.   He is familiar with different Federal government procurement vehicles and websites.  He utilizes government invoicing and document systems including the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF), DCAA compliance and General Services Administration e-offer portals.  He reviews and monitors the daily costs and requirements of all open projects.  His project and office management allow the partners freedom of movement with the latest and most accurate information.  He has learned basic Geographic Information Systems (GIS) functions in ArcMap 10.5.1 in order to supplement NGS’s GIS team with importing and exporting attribute tables, as well as, registering images.  His contributions allow the GIS professionals time for more complex applications.
