I have been working in the Muscogee County Coroner's Office from 2003-2012. It is a political position , and my term ended in January 2013. I am presently seeking employment that will utilize the very specific skill set I have acquired. Although working as a Coroner by definition would be with the deceased, many of my skills center around offering resources and personal attention to whatever the situation may be.In 2011 I was voted Coroner of the Year by the Office of Child Advocacy and The Child Fatality Review Board, and received a Proclamation from the Georgia Senate. I served as a traveling Coroner, instructing various government agencies on the proper procedure for handling child death. I have served on various city and state committees concerning mass fatality, gang violence, psychological autopsies, DUI re-enactments and Texting and Driving. I also have NIMS 100,300,700, and 800.
