Roles and Responsibilities:BBSM Champion Attend weekly boost team meetings. We review BBSM cards and analyze stats toestablish an action plan to mitigate hazards. I represent Perdido on off sight BBSM meetings to focus on quarterly safetygoals. I hold daily safety discussions in morning meetings.I coach coworkers (when needed) in writing quality BBSM observations. I am certified in Shells BBSM advanced observer training (rev. 8)Pulling cables.Penetrating cables into enclosures.Assisting Electrician and Instrumentation PersonnelTerminated systems as-per drawings. Process control end devices Fire detector system. PAGA ( Public Address and General Alarm System) Electronic safety system. Process control system. Interconnecting communications. Power and controls. Aids to navigation system. Emergency lighting.Hook up and commissioning: Termination of system wiring, commissioning loops from PLC to end devices. Conductor identification. Continuity checks. Voltage checks. Milliamp readings. HMI (human machine interface) confirmation.Single line tubing installation: ¼”, 3/8”, ½” 316 x 049/035 and 2507 super duplex. Measure from point A to point B, mark tubing and bend accordingly, Install andhook up. Evaluate tubing system for leaks, supports, and installation specification. Competent with swedging tool, gap gauge, tubing benders, and associated toolsfor the craft.

>To provide for the custody, control, care and treatment of each offender through compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and procedures.>Maintain detailed and accurate records including log book, offender shower log,shakedown log, cell inspection, offender status roster. Process offenders placed on Adm/Seg due to disciplinary reasons. Build and maintain appropriate rapport with inmates. Defuse/control disruptive behavior by appropriate verbal orders and appropriate useof physical force. Use verbal and listening skills to determine potential inmate problems, such assuicide risk, intoxication, drug usage, assaultive behavior, etc.>Write narrative reports describing events that have happened, such as confidential reports, incident reports, disciplinary reports, special observations reports, etc.>Read and write short notes in a log book as a means of passing information about daily events from one shift to another, such as inventory logs, post logs, narrative logs, etc.Defensive Tactics Instructor:PPCT/SSGT (Pressure Point Control Tactics/Strategic Self-defense Grappling Techniques) I instructed new members of the facility’s TACT team in self-defense. I recertified correctional officers in basic hand to hand defense at annual in-servicetraining. I gave refresher classes to other TACT team members from other state correctionalfacilities during joint TACT team training. Maintain accurate logs and training rosters for all classes given.TACT Team Member Proficient/competent with Glock 17 sidearm. Certified with less lethal munitions:o Freeze Plus P, Clear Out, Deep Freeze, Electronic Capture Shield, Bean baground for a twelve gauge rifle, 38mm and 40mm launcher with wooden batonrounds, gas rounds, chemical deterrent rounds, rubber pellet rounds,retractable baton, riot shield.
