Assess patentability for different inventions, using my knowledge of the computer science patent space as well as searches for prior art.Devise strategy to respond to office action in order to get the broadest patent protections.Work closely with a team of other patent agent interns to learn and bolster each other as we gain more experience.Aid with adding more automation to different processes within the firm in order to increase efficiency.

The Aerial Robotics Club builds and competes with 40-50 pound fixed-wing autonomous aircraft. On the team I worked on the following:Developed and actively maintain a library for easily running a Software In the Loop (SITL) simulation of the plane, allowing simple testing of flight logic and hardware components.Aided in deciphering legacy Robotic Operating System (ROS) code, and porting it to ROS2.Work with a team to develop a new ground station that can streamline the process of using Mavlink to upload missions to the plane. Used industry standard project management and testing tools, such as Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence, to streamline the development process.Aided in the design of PCBs for power distribution and servo control using KiCad.

I am working in the lab of Dr Nikolay Frick to help develop memristor networks that could be used to create fast and efficient analog neural networks.I work on developing algorithms in python that can be used to control a switching matrix, used for testing the materials and networks. Additionally, I explore different potential ways to mix memristors with other devices and materials, to better understand their interactions, and potential uses in the field of AI.

Worked with senior electrical engineers to design and assemble high power switching power supplies. Studied and recomended improvements to manufacturing processes.

- Led the development of a 125lb robot for competition in the First Robotics Competition- Led a diverse group of subteam leaders, ensuring that each group was able to adaquatly complete their work, and that the full system came together on time.- Trained new members in how to use Solidworks, How to develop computer vision for the robot, as well as the rest of the software, and how to service and maintain competition bots.- Competed with robot, placing first on the state level, and placing 12th in the extremely prestigious Indiana Robotics Invitational.

- Over Covid, developed novel strategies to train new members in the electrical systems of the robot- Planned and wired several small drive frames for testing and programming training- Revamp and reorganized electrical component acquisition and storage process

- Developed my skills in Embedded C++ programming, Computer Aided design, and the iterative design process.- Helped design, assemble, and wire the 2019 and 2020 competition bots, both of which did well in competition- Worked in the close-knit pit crew, helping to quickly diagnose and solve issues that arose on the robot during competition

Worked with other members of the congregation to develop a new job posting for a new priest, publicize that posting, filter resumes, interview, and ultimately hire a new priest. I also worked on updating the website for the church to provide information about the process to the wider congregation.

Planned weekly meetings, organized outings, and helped manage finances for a BSA troop. I had a special emphasis on outreach and recruitment, and under my leadership the size of the troop increased by 110%, to 23 active scouts.
