I was a pharmacy technician for two full summers and during winter break, during my time as a technician I gained lots of experience and knowledge in the medical field. My day to day duties included filling prescriptions, mixing oral suspensions, contacting doctors offices and or patients, keeping track of controlled substances such as narcotics and stimulants which are very heavily regulated in today's society and various other tasks asked of me by the pharmacist. In addition to experience gained from my everyday tasks, I've been willing to travel and have worked at three different hannaford pharmacy locations which has led to the growth of new connections, experience in different work environments and the ability to adapt in those environments.

I worked at hannafords for several summers, where I started as a regular cashier, however through my continual hard and reliable work I got an opportunity to serve a more important role in the store. As a customer service leader I had more responsibilities than cashiers. I'm the one who dealt with customer complaints and I helped make the work schedules and told fellow associates when to take their breaks or when they're allowed to go home. I also have experience opening and closing the store where they trust me with things such as handling store money. Overall this work experience has helped me grow as a person and become a better leader and be able to communicate better with others.
