With over 25 years of experience in law enforcement, I am a senior police lieutenant at Livonia Police Department, one of Michigan's largest and most admired police agencies. I am responsible for the administrative and operational functions of the Office of Professional Standards, where I develop programs and procedures to enhance the department's performance and compliance. I am also a certified Professional Emergency Manager, with skills and knowledge in crisis management, security operations, emergency operations center, business continuity, and risk and resilience.I am passionate about developing and leading personnel, training development, and project management. I have successfully implemented new technologies to improve police services, such as body-worn cameras and time management software. I have also created and delivered new training programs for supervision and mentored many officers and sergeants in their career development. As a board of trustee for the Livonia Employees Retirement System and the president of the Livonia Command Officers' Association, I have demonstrated fiduciary responsibility, contract negotiation, and representation skills. I am a transformative and creative leader who strives for excellence in police services and community engagement.
