Worked as WAREHOUSE MANAGER under Logistics Department, in-charge of warehouse operations and management covering Custom Bonded Warehouse (CBW) and General Stores located in Taguig and Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Implemented warehouse policies and procedures on proper handling and safekeeping of perishable and pilferage materials to prevent spoilage, deterioration, damage and loss in a controlled environment. Monitored/controlled receiving, issuance and accuracy of materials inventory such as direct and indirect materials, consigned and spare parts for production’s use. Recommended hiring and promotion of warehouse personnel based on the approved plantilla. Approved memos, receiving, discrepancies and monthly reports as well as workforce schedules prior to submission to upper management. Coordinated with Traffic, Production, Planning and Control Departments on the timely availability and arrival of materials (JIT). Conducted a regular routine check of actual work activities in the different areas to ensure no backlogs in the loading schedules and encoding of daily transactions in the system. Ensured that a regular cycle count of materials is being conducted in order to evaluate the performances of personnel and tracking system being used. Conducted a daily routine inspection of all warehouse areas to ensure good housekeeping and compliance of safety policies and procedures were met. Conducted daily line briefing of Supervisors prior to start work. Prepares working strategy to ensure that the section’s target operating cost conformed with the allotted budget.
