-Set up financial management department and restructured proprietary portfolio reporting-Implemented new HR system and set up company Intranet-Reorganized operations department, recruiting platform and heavily involved in recruitment of executive directors, directors and senior management in business areas-Took over Board pack preparation and attending Board meetings with CEO-Managed process of moving company to new premises and worked with Barwa Bank IT to merge TFI IT-Set-up new strategy documentation and process, management reporting systems and re-hashed budgeting process and structures-Set-up together with CEO an extensively updated Authority Matrix to decentralize a number of day to day functions-Organized new PI and D&O insurance for company. -Have taken various cost cutting initiatives through re-negotiations with suppliers and synergies with group companies-Point of contact with consultants on finalization of 5 year strategy and projections and new compensation scheme for fund management and placement team

-Initial focus on spinning off the investment banking activity from Al Rajhi Bank-Set up and oversee the Finance, HR; Administration, Project Management, IT and Quality Assurance Functions-System implementations for HR and Finance based on Oracle Platform-Overseeing customer service, back office operations and marketing-Ongoing development/improvement for Brokerage and Asset management proprietary systems and other electronic channels-Ongoing interaction with business departments on day to day support from COO departments-Initiated key projects to enhance the infrastructure of the company-Design and set-up prudential filing and management reporting structures-Various interactions with CMA and acting as main contact during CMA inspection-Strategy, Budgeting, Board Meeting preparation. Set up the investment services operation based on an open architecture model. Included:-Recruitment and training of a dedicated sales team, operations, finance, compliance and other support staff, set-up of sales and advisory platforms, implementation of a new portfolio management system-Establishing ties with a number of reputable foreign fund managers-Opening of a representative office in Dubai for the asset management operation

Achievements & Responsibilities as CEO included:-Set up Product Development department and combined with the Marketing effort-Set up new terms of business with principals leading to enhanced profitability of the business-Reorganization of sales function and retraining of Financial Planning Managers on Life and Health insurance products to diversify revenue streams-Introduction of new back-office services, generating new income to the Group-Intensive involvement in the merger process with an insurance operation and presentation of the merger proposal to shareholders at General Assembly-Establishment of a Centralized Services Function to support the new merged Group-Various cost control initiatives, including re-location of the back-office functions to more suitable and cost effective location. As a result letting out prime site Head Office vacated space-Set up an Internal Audit functionMost of these efforts contributed to the company turning back to profitability in 2003.Other areas of responsibility included:-Representing the Group and presenting results and initiatives at the General Assembly-Enhancing the compliance function and culture within the organization and enhancing the reputation of the company with the local regulator
