I began writing in my college years at the University of New Orleans, short stories primarily. While I wanted to pursue a writing career, I instead earned a degree in accounting. After graduation, I sat for my CPA exam but soon realized that sitting behind a desk crunching numbers as an accountant wasn't for me. I joined the family business in the HVACR industry and after 40 years decided to try my hand at being published. I continued to write all these years and published my first short story in 2017, Adventures of Hannah Claire , my second is about to enter the editing phase.
