His primary responsibility is to support the implementation of multiple Executive Orders and Strategic Plan requirements related to the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access (I-DEA) Plan and other equity-related initiatives.Lead the development and implementation of the CMV's Data Tool/App, working closely with the Office of Information and Technology (OIT) White Glove Intake to Insights (WiGI) Team.CMV is mandated by statute 38 U.S.C. section 317 to assess how well the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) programs meet the needs of minority Veterans. CMV makes recommendations to improve these programs and policies and conducts focused outreach to address disparities among minority Veterans.The CMV has created a collaborative data tool/app designed to provide evidence-based data that supports executive decision-making for equitable service delivery. Veterans Affairs Hispanic Association (VAHA) is a nonprofit organization that identify training needs and seek advancement opportunities for Hispanics in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Some of the objectives are Assist VA program officials by providing referral information to Hispanic veterans regarding available VA benefits. Promote department-wide awareness of the Hispanic cultures in effort to improve understanding and enhance sensitivity towards the needs of the Hispanic Community.

This virtual training environment provides an instructor led virtual solution to the desktop to deliver virtual training, meetings and conferences for OIT staff. The goal of this initiative is to increase access to training and provide multi-user collaboration for all OIT staff while reducing the dollars and time expenses associated with travel through a Multi-User Virtual IT Campus. Competency Modeling and Training ( 005F3B) This office develops Information Security training for the entire VA population including employees, contractors and volunteers. Manages and supervises competency model development, operations and maintenance for all OIT staff to ensure compliance with Secretary of VA Human Capital Improvement initiatives. This includes stake holder engagement and working group collaboration for the establishment of competencies for employees to up-skill OIT workforce through identification and self-assessments of knowledge, skills and abilities and to provide training to close skill gaps in order to provide world class service to our internal VA customers to better serve our Nation’s Veterans. This office is also responsible for the implementation of the OPM 2210 Competency Model in OIT. IT Training and Career Development coordinates the validation of each parenthetical role (e.g. ISO, CIO) with VA subject matter experts.

The Neighborhood Advisory Council (NAC) is a forum for residents to become involved in identifying and recommending positive changes to improve their neighborhoods by enhancing communications with elected officials. It is the goal of the elected officials to work with residents to understand and address the issues that impact the quality of life in neighborhoods. The NAC initiative was developed in response to community input provided during the 2002 Series of Community Forums.

The field draws on many artistic and vocational areas, including electronics, acoustics, psychoacoustics, and music. An audio technician is proficient with different types of recording media, such as analog tape, digital multitrack recorders and workstations, and computer knowledge. With the advent of the digital age, it is becoming more and more important for the audio technician to be versed in the understanding of software and hardware integration from synchronization to analog to digital transfers.
