About William Vermoortel

When I was young I played a lot of video games. Their technical and artistic aspect fascinated me. It was when I was modding The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, in particular when I heard of TES Renewal Skywind project that I began to wonder if it was possible to work in the video game industry.It is quite naturally that my choice of study went towards game art so I started my studies in one of the few schools in Belgium: the Haute Ecole Albert Jacquard. Once graduated and having no real specialization yet and wishing to obtain a master's degree I enrolled at the ECV in Bordeaux for 2 additional years of study during which I intend to expand my portfolio and to work on a specialization which is 3D chracters sculpting.In the future I want to work in the video game industry as a character artist or an environment artist. I would like to work in smaller and larger companies. My ultimate goal is working on a Bethesda Games Studio project such as The Elder Scrolls, DOOM or Dishonnored.
