About William W Jun

William Jun is a Telecommunications Engineer in the Communications and Architecture Research Group at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He obtained his B.S., M.Sc., and Ph.D. each in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His Ph.D. focused on designing and characterizing a low infrastructure navigation architecture for lunar planetary surface users. Throughout his time with Georgia Tech, he worked in the Space Systems Design Laboratory (SSDL) on various CubeSat missions as subsystem leads and Project Manager. William was the recipient of the 2019 NASA Space Technology Research Fellowship. This fellowship created a partnership with NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, CA, USA, and William worked at JPL as a fellow during the summers of 2018 to 2023. His research interests include GPS, navigation architectures, navigation methods, and estimation techniques.
