Mr. Walk has had a varied practice since he became licensed in 1989. For his first two years, he divided time between criminal defense, domestic relations, bankruptcy and personal injury plaintiff’s work. In 1992, he went to work for the Hardison Law Firm in Memphis, wherein his practice focused on representing insurance and insurance companies in a wide variety of cases including premises liability, products liability, workers compensation, auto accident defense and defense of medical malpractice claims. Further, his undergraduate degree in Engineering Technology allowed him to be of especial effectiveness in handling cases involving engineering/architectural negligence. He was a partner at the Hardison Law Firm from 1998 – 2003.In 2003, Mr. Walk went out on his own, focusing on workers compensation defense and representing plaintiffs in medical malpractice cases and general torts. In 2006 he joined forces with his former Hardison Law Firm partner, Robert Spence, to form the SpenceWalk law firm . Since then, Walk has focused heavily on representing plaintiffs in medical malpractice claims, and in October of 2010, he successfully obtained a jury verdict on behalf of the plaintiff in the amount of $12.3 million.In July of 2013, Mr. Walk obtained a $2.295 million dollar verdict in a trucking case tried in Shelby County, Tennessee.
