Work in pre-construction services estimating cost, material and labor hours for various commercial construction projects. Daily tasks included reviewing and understanding drawings as well as corresponding with subcontractors to insure that all scopes of work are covered and included in budgets. I also worked on getting projects into varous owners budgets through the process of Value-Analysis.

Worked on the University of Georgia Special Collections Library Project. I was in charge of the organization and submittal process for all LEED Data as well as organization and submittal process for all of the equipment Commissioning. I handled all daily correspondence including pricing of drawings/scope changes, distribution and explanation of said changes to the on-site Subcontractors. I handled punch-lists, job site photography, updating of as-built drawings, checking shop drawings and other submittal's from Subcontractors and sending them on to the Architect for approval. I also wrote any requests for information (RFI's) that came up during the construction process. I was responsible for taking meeting minutes at all scheduling meetings, Owner-Architect-Contractor Meetings and Foreman's Meetings as well as distributing them to the appropriate parties afterward. I participated in contractor bi-weekly safety walks and generally helped with coordination in the field between different Subcontractors and the General Contractor.

Worked with the Department of Facility Planning in an effort to track down, analyze and input Historical Cost Data for the Hospital into a user friendly database that is being utilized in estimating the cost of upcoming projects. I helped organize and start Mission Hospitals "On-boarding" process for screening contractors and other personnel that come on campus. I also taught a class to the Department of Facility Planning on how to design and use of Pivot Tables in Microsoft Excel.
