1. Identify and develop new product/ enhance existing Trade Finance product / packages to suit customer business needs 2. Prepare ‘Product Program’ including obtaining sign offs by relevant parties and Management Committee’s approval in accordance to the Bank’s Product Program Policy. 3. Develop/review new/existing ‘Standard Authorization Policy’ and ‘Standard Operating Procedures’ 4. Ensure prompt submission/notification to BNM on the new/enhance product and liaise with the regulators for any enquiries. 5. Work closely with Trade Operations & IT team for any system enhancement required for the newly created/enhanced product 6. Conduct product briefing on the approved new/enhance products to Trade Sales/Operations Team. 7. Develop online product briefing and disclosure sheet for client reference. 8. Collate feedbacks on Trade products from Sales force & Business Units for future enhancement/review. 9. Handle trade projects. 10. Design, execute and analyze strategic marketing campaigns to drive Trade business. 11. Work closely with Business Units/ Corporate Communication/ MIS to ensure project runs smoothly. 12. Conduct result tracking and analysis to understand market behavior for future improvement.

- Conduct market research/ analysis of trade product and services to identify gaps and propose for enhancements to improve trade business and revenue.- Analyze customer's trade requirements, competitors' strategies and market trends, and recommend product proposals for execution.- Design, review and maintain standard various trade applications forms and documents and propose simplified and standardized format.- Conduct yearly product performance review of trade products and services in line with the BNM and RHB Group guidelines.- Enhance and update various editorial contents on trade products and services to drive value and increase usage.- Maintain an updated standard set of trade product features, policies and procedures.

Act as full time checker for daily Banker’s Acceptance transactions. Ensure standard turnaround time for processing bills met. Recommend ideas for improve processes and procedures. Enhance performance and maintain discipline of the staff. Provide guidance to staff and officer in day to day operations.

Act as full time checker for daily Export Bills transactions which include Export Collection, Export Discount/Purchase, advising Export LC, Export Credit Refinancing, Promissory Notes. Ensure standard turnaround time for processing bills met. Recommend ideas for improve processes and procedures. Enhance performance and maintain discipline of the staff. Provide guidance to staff and officer in day to day operations.

Act as Maker and Checker for daily Export LC Discount/Purchase transactions from Singapore. Assist Unit Head in managing the team. Monitor volume and delegate transactions to respective team mates. Manage end of day reconciliation reports. Monitor and update leave and training schedule of team mates.

Process daily trade import transactions and attend to trade related inquiries from customers. Issuance of Guarantees and Letter of Credit in accordance to customer’s approved line of credit. Process documents under collection and deliver documents against sight or acceptance. Check documents for discrepancies and advise customer. Charge customers on handling and processing documents.
