Experience with a variety of drilling units including jack-ups (both independent leg and mat supported), platform rigs 600hp – 3,000hp, barge rigs, and lift boats in state and federal waters. • Deliver performance focused well plans located throughout the Gulf of Mexico (GoM) shelf: o Directional wells with depths up to 15,000 feet and 7,000 feet horizontal displacement o Horizontal wells, including pilot holes and geosteering with both RSS and mud motors, o Mudline suspension wells utilizing mudline templates and tie back equipment on new facility installation. o HTHP wells with MW’s up to 16.0 ppg and 15,000 psi. o Highly depleted reservoir drilling (1.8 ppg MWE) with pressure differentials in excess of 5,000 psi o Close proximity platform new drills with extreme anti-collision dependencies and avoidance planning. o H2S Environments/Salt and Salt Overhangs/Zero Discharge/Timbalier trench (time dependent wellbore instability) o Slim Hole wells, including sidetracks from 7” casing with 5” stack pack completions. • Knowledgeable in fluid types including cement, WBM, HP WBM, DOBM, SBM, and brines.• Planning and execution of complex well abandonment's and interventions, including MRWO.• Develop detailed cost estimates and project scope alternatives with predictable economic outcomes.• Simultaneous Operation plan creation and implementation focused on production optimization• Pore Pressure/Fracture Gradient Prediction and Mud Weight plan development • Daily support of all planning and execution of wells• Identified as a Mentor to develop Chevron engineers, drilling representatives, and summer interns for GoM. • Support Asset Teams as D&C Representative providing planning and execution expertise
