Worked with an agile development team on many aspects of a comprehensive healthcare analytics platform, including a lead role in• Design and implementation of the second major iteration of a highly configurable data entry system used by clinical professionals. This version expanded the scope of configuration and reduced the cost to do so by integrating with the Drools rules engine. It also dramatically improved performance by introducing a caching layer, and introducing React on the front end. • Design and implementation of batch processing system, coordinating the flow of data and processing between three major platform components to deliver reliable and high throughput integration.• Automating the integration and delivery of nearly all aspects of the platform across multiple staging environments and customers using Jenkins, Fabric (python), Liquibase, Maven, Nexus, Git / SVN, Docker, Terraform and AWS.• Automated testing efforts using JUnit, Mockito, Spring Integration Tests, TestContainers, Selenium and Sonarqube.• Tool evaluation through proof of concept implementations to help drive innovation along critical paths of the platform. Including migration to Typescript/React for front-end development, and using Hazelcast in-memory data grid to dramatically improve scalability for large portions of the real time ad-hoc reporting infrastructure.
