EXPERIENCE/RELATED Marshalltown Co. - I served as a Mechanical Project Engineer / Project Engineer for Marshalltown.Athletic Scholarship - Out of high school earned a full-ride scholarship to play Football at Iowa State University. Besides having some natural ability, I also had to work tirelessly to pursue the scholarship simply because they are not just given out. Only a small percent of the high school football players get to play college football none the less being awarded a full ride. Student-Athlete - Being a Student-Athlete means that we must not only balance our roles as full-time students but also balance our roles as full-time athletes. This puts a lot of pressure and demands a lot from us. Therefore, we must have excellent time management skills, planning, prioritizing, work ethic, honor, and integrity. Boy Scouts of America National Youth Leadership Training National Youth Leadership Training, often called NYLT, is the current youth leadership development training offered by the Boy Scouts of America. The program is conducted by councils over two weekends or one week for Boy Scouts, At the age of 14 was selected by my troop to participate in the NYLT program - Was selected as a youth at the age of 15 and 16 to be a camp leader and train other scouts in basic and fundamental leadership skills during the summers of 2011 and 2012 Iowa State Department of Residence -Currently I have a summer job working for the department. The DOR is one of the largest non-academic departments on campus! Our residence life, facilities, administrative, business, marketing, conference, and technology staff work to ensure a safe, supportive learning and social environment where students can thrive as they pursue their adventure at Iowa State.
