Wrote scripts in order to optimize, streamline and automate the process of performing analysis of 1+ TB datasets in Dr. Haydeh Payami's Lab on Parkinson's disease research. These scripts centered around genome-wide association studies (GWAS), a technique used to find associations between single-nucleotide polymorphisms and PD risk. Also wrote scripts that performed quality control tests to ensure the integrity of the input datasets and corresponding results of the analyses.
