2020Triaged production issues and failures within Medicare Advantage member enrollment processes to ensure customer services were uninterrupted and smooth.Documented SOPs to make production triage easier and faster, capturing known issues and their resolutions, and designing enrollment process improvements to reduce the number of failures.2019Designed, developed, and deployed a suite of micro services to enable customer enrollment from a business acquisition to enable health and safety offerings to thousands of members through the Medicare Advantage program. The system was comprised of an ASP.NET Core REST API, an ASP.NET Core GraphQL API, and a distributed messaging architecture using NServiceBus and RabbitMQ. The system included automated testing, including over 500 tests, written in Java to ensure stable builds with each new change and release.On-boarded and mentored an entire new team of senior engineers, automation engineers, and quality engineers, teaching them about GreatCall's established patterns and practices, teaching them about our business and products, and suggesting new patterns for quality practices ranging from code quality, code structure, and test methodology and mindset.

2018Deployed an Angular 5 web application embedded in a Genesys Workspace plugin. The application uses an ASP.NET Web API back-end, and integrates with multiple third-party services. The application includes integration tests that verify our service’s functionalities with each deployment, as well the team’s first ever client side unit tests for our Angular components.Onboarded our team’s newest developer, and provided him with insights into our company’s development standards, CI/CD pipeline, and overall system architecture. I assisted in explaining our team’s current project and gave him the tools necessary to start developing features on his second day.2017Converted a call scripting desktop application into a web application with a thin client Genesys plugin. Our aim was to reduce operational and deployment complexity by centralizing the application's hosted location from each agent machine to a set of web servers. This conversion also enabled our team to better integrate system-monitoring tools to increase visibility into the application's usage and errors.Adapted an existing WPF application into a plugin for the Genesys Workspace Desktop Edition application. This module provides assistive services to our customers and is used by over 800 call center agents, handling anywhere from 4000 to 6000 customer calls per day.Replaced a legacy WCF service with a new RESTful web API to better conform to our company's use of RESTful microservices. The web API includes application monitoring to provide our team with better insights into application errors, and overall service usage.Created a TypeScript basics presentation, which provided an introduction to the TypeScript language. The presentation targeted developers with a basic knowledge of JavaScript, such that they could learn some of the language's syntax and tools as compared to ES5 JavaScript.

Responsibilities include leading a discussion section, in which students can ask questions in a smaller classroom environment in order to gain stronger understanding of lecture concepts. Leading a discussion section also entails coordination with the professor and other aides to determine useful discussions topics, and creating presentations and in-class activities to build upon lecture topics. Other responsibilities include holding office hours, potentially teaching lectures in the event of a professor's absence, and grading student exams. Concepts taught include elementary programming concepts through the medium of the C++ and Python languages.

I was responsible for aiding in the development of a new prototype for reviewing patient medical histories, called Chart Review. The development process entailed UI development and iterating on different layouts and UI ideas in order to make reviewing patient histories more visual and thereby easier to gather patient information quickly. During my 12 week internship, I worked extensively with Web Development languages, specifically CSS3, JavaScript, and JQuery.
