- Lead the Emergency Preparedness Department in formulating and executing strategies and policies relating to maritime emergencies and business continuity planning during crisis and national emergencies.- Develop contingency plans to mitigate emerging risks attributable to climate change and the use of new energy sources such as green fuels. - Lead in the review of MPA Crisis Management framework and contingency plans in a post-COVID-19 environment and the conduct of crisis management exercises to validate crisis readiness and coordinated responsiveness.

- Contributed to the emergency preparedness and crisis resilience of the aviation sector, a fast-paced and vibrant industry in Singapore.- Developed and reviewed contingency plans for peacetime crises and National Emergency, drawing lessons learnt from high profile air accidents. - Provided secretariat support for the Crisis Management Group for responses to various incidents involving aircraft emergencies, terminal fire, drone intrusions and COVID-19.- As part of COVID-19 crisis response, played a key role in administering the Rostered Routine Testing (RRT) regime and prioritized vaccination programme for aviation frontline workers. Was duly recognized with COVID-19 Commendation and Resilience Medals for displaying great courage and dedication beyond the call of duty while maintaining a high level of professionalism during the pandemic.- A valued team member who has consistently shown to be adaptable and versatile when working out of comfort zones and with different stakeholders. Was duly recognized with two promotions within a span of 8 years.

- Started my career as an emergency responder in Singapore’s busiest fire station. - Trained as a member of SCDF's elite rescue team, the Disaster Assistance & Rescue Team (DART), specialising in urban search & rescue since 2006.- Held leadership, supervisory and trainer positions throughout decade-long career in SCDF, including leadership training for its officer cadets.- A proven individual who has shown to be crisis resilient, a team player, motivator, mentor, physically and mentally fit and duly recognized with five promotions within a span of 9 years.- Selected to serve as an Honorary Aide-de-Camp to the President of Republic of Singapore since 2010. - Currently, as a NSman holding the rank of a Lieutenant-Colonel (LTC), I serve as the Deputy Rescue Battalion Commander in one of the SCDF Division, overseeing the conduct of safe, effective and meaningful in-camp trainings for more than 200 fellow NSmen.
