BNYM (Bank of New York Mellon) is an American company that is one of the oldest banking corporations in the United States. Our team is responsible for Data Migration, which involves extracting, validating and ingesting around 150 million PDF files (statements, tax documents, etc.) My responsibility is to write Python scripts to validate the PDF files extracted from Mercury Database, find and quarantine corrupted PDF files, create CSV files for data ingestion (Rubika & Solimar), generate reports for group meetings, and perform screen automation for repetitive work.

Johnson & Johnson is a multinational medical devices, pharmaceutical and consumer packaged goods manufacturing company. Our company uses the management system that records item stocks and supplies across different locations. The system also records statistics on item usage, trends, and demand over time, which will then be analyzed by using Python modules, such as NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib to provide further information for business illustration and financial projections. The system is designed to send automated alerts to its users on low supplies on specific items using AWS Lambda functions and SNS services. I was mainly involved in developing and maintaining a backend web service, and created a REST service by using Django and Django REST frameworks, MySQL. As a full stack team member, I was also involved in creating the front-end single page application interface using Angular framework.
