Formations: Bakken/Three Forks• Conduct regional and field scale subsurface evaluations integrating multiple data types to assess development potential.• Proactively engage with geoscientists and engineers to interpret and integrate results of subsurface evaluations, completions designs and production. Formations: Bakken/Three Forks• Provided geological operations support to the Planning & Design team to help optimally develop Hess acreage by striving for continual improvement in wellbore placement and drilling performance while reducing overall operating costs. Every quarter, this team executed development programs below project AFE (~$6MM/well), helping establish Hess as a top-quartile operator in the Williston Basin.• Prepared geologic data packages at spud, landing and TD including structure maps, cross-sectional profiles, pore pressure models, lateral targeting parameters and end-of-well reports for lookbacks.• Supervised and actively collaborated with in-house Geosteerers and Wellsite Geologists to update wellbore targeting strategies based on real-time formation analyses.• Provided monthly testimony to the North Dakota Industrial Commission (NDIC) with appropriate geologic data to obtain well spacing and field designations.• Contributed to process improvement through after-action reviews at the well, DSU and field level in a collaborative environment.

Formations: Bakken/Three Forks• Provided geosteering support to 5 rigs in Hess’s Bakken “Real-Time Drilling Center” with the focus to drive efficiency, consistency and scalability to Hess’ onshore drilling program. Helped reduce spud-to-TD cycle time by approximately 25% and executed learned practices to other rigs.• Landed and steered wellbores within 10’ of stratigraphic section per plan.• Generated and communicated target changes to Directional Drillers in adjacent workstations.• Prepared daily reporting materials such as geosteering interpretations, torque-and-drag models and projected well performance for morning meetings with Bakken Leadership.• Contributed to process improvement by presenting problems and discussing any after-action reviews in a collaborative environment with Geologists, Engineers and other Drilling team members.
