William began his entrepreneurial journey at a young age, building and selling his first business before entering military service. Later, in the US, he became Asia Business Development Director at the world’s largest retailer, where he oversaw strategic growth, formed global partnerships, and optimized logistics in Asia.After his senior management role, William returned to Asia to establish a private equity fund for Marmon Group and later founded his own venture capital firm, WISKEY CAPITAL, focusing on early-stage investments. He also served as VP of Strategy at General Hospital, leading its IPO and China expansion. In addition, he launched an angel fund targeting biomed tech, fintech, and online media. .Since 2015, William has also served as a judge for the Hult Prize Global Entrepreneurship Competition, supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs in creating impactful ventures.With extensive experience in the US, Europe, and China, William has accumulated domain expertise across retail, financial, medical, and health services, completing several major cross-border M&A deals. His innovative mindset, combined with academic research, drives his work in big data analysis, platform economics, and entrepreneurial management.Currently a Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School, William continues to expand his influence in investment and entrepreneurship education, sharing his development of “Evolving Intelligence,” a fusion of academic theory and practical application. As a professor and mentor, he helps startups succeed on the global stage, while applying his insights to geopolitics and Artificial General Intelligence.William is not only an alumnus of Harvard Business School but also holds two doctoral degrees, one in Strategic Management from National Taiwan University and another in Medicine from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.
