Our investor network is specifically focused in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific.Areas of work- Responsible for 3 full set of accounts from month end closing, analysis, financial reporting, IFRS compliance to annual audit- Review tax computations and returns prepared by external service providers covering PAYE, NIC, VAT, GST, superannuation- Treasury and cost control: 1) review and approve company expenses; 2) execute bank transactions; 3) chase long outstanding receivables; 4) facilitate fund transfers; 5) manage foreign currencies- Participated in monthly budgeting and cashflow forecast- Sales support: responsible for daily invoicing, account servicing and collect payments from clients- Coordinate with HR department on monthly payroll, commissions, pensions and salary taxations- Cross discipline: update and monitor CRM system (Monday.com) for collaboration between different departments; constructed workflow schedules for the finance team- Multi-national operation: coordinated with stakeholders in Australia, South Africa, Germany, UK, US, Canada, Singapore, Middle East and Hong Kong- Tech awareness: familiar with Xero, Expensify, Spotlight, Telenox, Pandadoc and Hubspot - Project management awareness: co ordinated with FP&A, consol team and accounting team to implement a new bookkeeping system- Prepare weekly management reporting to show costs analysis and KPI

- Asset realisation - assisting in a) an automobile manufacturing company in selling its subsidiaries and b) a listed company sell its memberships in a Hong Kong country club - Provisional liquidation & Delisting - part of the investigation team responsible for recovering misappropriated funds and for the possible proposal for the resumption of listing - Asset recovery - assisted an asset management company in recovering a loan through handling post acquisition matters after its takeover of a hotel located in Hong Kong - Matrimonial dispute - investigated on a Hong Kong based entrepreneur / venture capitalist in tracking down his investments in startups scatterred across Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, China and USA through trust and shell companies - Financial due diligence - carried out various fact finding procedures to facilitate clients in acquiring targets for different purposes (including very substantial acquisition and reverse takeover)

- HSBC - part of the Risk Consulting team involved in strengthening the SOX Controls on IT systems designed for reporting on IFRS9 transactions- HSBC - part of the Financial Management team involved in enhancing the monthly reporting process for the Commercial banking department- Tian Teck - participated in the audit of the property investment company with property holdings valued up to HK$15,000M- Christie’s Hong Kong - co-led a small team in auditing the well-known auctioneer’s HK operations withrevenues up to HK$1,300M and artworks valued up to HK$40M- Guangdong Holdings - developed various property valuation models (including future cash flows, cost to replace and market value) for multiple properties (ie malls, residential and school grounds) across Guangdong province

- Led audit engagements of religious organizations, property holding companies, restaurants (Fung Shing and Paramount), film production studios (Sil-Metropole Organisation), cosmetic retailers (Angel Face), clothing retailers (Uniqlo) and participated in bond issuance for listed entities (REXLot)- Led audit engagements from start to finish – a) devised and executed various audit procedures to bridge between clients’ managerial accounts and contemporary financial reporting standards; b) acted as a direct contact between the engagement team and clients; and c) periodically reviewed working papers prepared by fellow teammates- Practical experience in Hong Kong Profits tax - assisted clients in estimating deferred tax and upcoming tax provisions

- Acted as clients’ tax advisor by helping them adhere to international taxation agreements and answer to IRD inquiries- Acted as clients’ company secretary through managing and preparing the required statutory records and minutes- Carried out liquidator’s duties and handled over HKD 10mil worth of capital in paying back various creditors and members under members voluntary liquidation
