I had overall accountability for growing the sales and profitability throughout each area of the store. I was initially employed as a Travel Advisor in the Inverness Store but after 8 weeks in the role I was promoted to Assistant Retail Manager for a dual site in the Inverness branches. I thrived in the new role and was able to gain substantial sales knowledge and managerial experience. This was a highly challenging role in which I was, on many occasion, charged with the sole running of the store as well as overseeing the running of a sister store.
