He was appointed Branch Chief to propagate the study and practice of Kyokushinkai Karate. In 1976-77 Rembuden broke away from Honbu as an independent Kyokushin Dojo. The independence was short lived as the Rembuden organisation then aligned itself with Higaonna Morio Sensei, an Okinawan Master training out of Tokyo at the renowned Yoyogi Dojo.In 1988 Sensei Jarvis retired from his position as Chairman and Chief Instructor of Rembuden. 3 factions eventuated, the diehards, and 2 other groups, one which sought to retain its independence,as Rembuden and the other which followed the then Chief Instructor (Sensei Dennis May). Another breakaway group from the diehards came into being under Sensei Terry Hill of Hamilton.

Manager controlling 2 Wellington Branches, including National warehousing operation. The Company was owned by Carter Holt Harvey for most of the time, but was then sold to Pilkington Glass, who in turn sold the business along with the staff to Belron, a South African Company. Experienced a number of changes of reporting, divesting of the national Warehouse from my control, then re-acquiring same again after last takeover.

Responsible for the national distribution of the NZ Telephone White Pages and Yellow pages - policies and procedures. Managed also the Mail Order Division at Penrose, after position re-located to Auckland shortly after being appointed to this position. Resigned to return to Wellington.

NZ Fibreglass was the leading manufacturer of Domestic Insulation (Pink Batts), Commercial and Industrial Insulation in New Zealand. Supplied to the NZ Market, as well as Pacific Islands.Resigned to take up a Wellington position.

Responsible for Central Region Sales Office servicing Merchants for the Domestic Insulation Market (Building Supply Merchants), Commercial and Industrial Sectors along with Endusers. Key role in relationship building with Architectural and Engineering Specificers.Transferred to Head Office as Marketing Services Manager, Auckland.

Responsible for sales into the Lower North Island - Wellington to New Plymouth across to Hawkes Bay. Customer base - Plumbing Merchants along with specifiers.Manufacturer of AHI Porcelain-on-steel Bathroomware, Alape Sinktops, AHI Supertubs, Euroform and Corian Benchtops.Transferred to another AHI Company.
