Acquisition Support Specialist
Provide Acquisition Management Support, including but not limited too; Provide support to the SOF AT&L Acquisition Operations Division, Identify deficiencies or weaknesses in current policies across the whole acquisition spectrum and recommend solutions to the Procurement Senior Management, Assists in synchronizing acquisition policies regarding service contracting to ensure consistency between DoD and USSOCOM policies, Maintain documentation pertaining to program factors such as cost and schedule adherence, Assess program progress including cost estimates, schedules, and performance supportability baseline requirements, Establish and monitor management controls such as milestones, expenditure rates, management indicators, baseline changes and management reviews to reflect program status and to provide early detection of emerging problems, Prepare staff studies, progress reports, and status reports for presentation to program leaders and other stakeholders, Identify and suggest resolution to program challenges, Prepare procurement instructions and/or directives requiring review and research and rewrite as applicable, Prepare databases, spreadsheets, and electronic graphic media to include charts, and other documentation, as required, and gather quarterly metrics data from USSOCOM, Schedule, set up and operate video teleconference equipment, Assist in the preparation of the Procurement Management Review team report, and finally Assist SOF AT&L Acquisition offices with Freedom of Information Act Requests.
