Worked closely with banks, mining companies, governments and Japanese & Korean conglomerates operating in the metals & mining industry to drive awareness around new features of the S&P Metals product offering and renew annual contracts. Frequent travel to China, Korea, Japan, Australia and Singapore.

• Contributed to a 1 year desk P&L of US$10mil through executing and hedging retail client flows in JPY structured products and monitoring proprietary exotic option positions• Utilized knowledge of the product development life-cycle to write requirements, test and implement a new option pricing tool• Created daily risk management reports to aggregate and monitor interest rate risk and volatility risk positions between correlated currency pairs across 7 trading books• Interacted with brokers, traded spot FX and followed breaking news using Bloomberg

• Researched the iron ore, car and travel industries in China for a long-short equity hedge fund with US$4bil AUM while studying full time toward an MBA• Constructed an economic forecasting model for valuing a mid-cap NYSE listed company using company and industry Capital IQ financial data

• Utilized knowledge of futures/OTC commodity products, exchange trading systems and internal corporate infrastructure to lead transition to ICE Block 2.0, a new trade clearing application integrated with instant message technology, generating US$80mil in annual revenue• Worked directly with senior product and project managers to set priorities, timelines and objectives for ICE Block 2.0; communicated this information directly to the president of the company in a monthly email• Received an outstanding 4.0/4.0 on annual performance review and was offered a promotion and expatriate relocation package to move to the ICE London office as an Account Manager
