This process was the keystone to our cloud first approach, but also led to better resource management, infrastructure capacity planning, task tracking, project delay identification and overall measurement. Insights gained from this process were used to improve security, allocate headcount, improve project delivery speeds and ensure compliance with established standards. Report quarterly to CTO and CIO around successes of our infrastructure architecture process.♦ Indirectly led team of 30 administrators, project managers and engineers responsible for the gathering of requirements, and technical solution architecture of infrastructure services for both application team and infrastructure team projects.♦ Partnered with Microsoft Redmond Azure Active Directory engineering team on behalf of Whole Foods Market to scope feature requests for Azure Active Directory. This relationship has produced many significant changes in their product, which has directly reduced password resets costs and compliance issues surrounding SaaS providers. ♦ Ran the implementation of Azure Active Directory for over 90k users to federate Single Sign-On for Enterprise SaaS based applications (WorkDay, Salesforce, etc). Which brought additional security capabilities like MFA, geo-fencing, and rolling account heuristics monitoring.♦ Part of security incident response planning efforts, secure infrastructure planning sessions, and directly involved in PCI/SOX compliance efforts.
