William is a Management & Information Systems graduate from Ashesi University in Ghana, with a diploma in International Finance from the IE Business School in Madrid, Spain, & an MSc in Business & Management from the University of Essex. William serves as the Assistant Director for the Prof. Adei Studio for Research Excellence in the Office of Academic Affairs at Ashesi University, providing research and scholarship support to faculty under the leadership of the Provost (Chief Academic Officer). As part of this role, William administers faculty research grants & sponsored programs; supervises & project manages Academic Affairs innovations, projects and institutes; faculty scholarship initiatives; supports the Provost with academic quality assurance and accreditation processes; coordinates entrepreneurship spinoffs as a key liaison and Fund Administrator for the Ashesi Entrepreneurship Center; supports the Provost & Director of International Programs with university collaborations & MOUs, among others. William has additional experience in higher education, having managed the Business as well as the Humanities & Social Sciences departments as Program Coordinator, for the Faculty of Arts & Sciences at Ashesi University. In this role, William managed various quality assurance processes, including but not limited to pre and post moderation, personnel planning, external evaluation, accreditation and re-accreditation and administrative support to the Head of Department. William also works as a freelance management consultant and provides business advisory and project management support to businesses in industries including education, food and agriculture, auto-motive, business incubators and accelerators, manufacturing, healthcare, etc.Over the years, he has had work experiences at ENSafrica law firm and Fidelity Bank, in case filing and assisting the Chief Information Officer, respectively. William’s research interests include higher education, start-ups & entrepreneurship, strategic succession planning & family business sustainability. His professional interests include management consulting, specifically in healthcare business management, agri-business, project management and education administration. William has keen interest in the African Creative Arts scene and manages some African creative professionals by supporting their creative process through contract negotiations, business modelling and proposal structures. William enjoys visuals, reading, road trips and informal discourse on African centered issues ranging from music & art to public policy.
