Digital Operations Manager
CurrentThe Digital Operations Manager leads the team and is a digital subject matter expert who works with business leaders to effectively identify opportunities, prioritise and manage delivery of continuous design and development practices relating to the accuracy of the information, functionality and the presentation of WorkSafe’s public websites. This role works closely with a product delivery team in ITSS and provides leadership to a team of technical specialists which ensures smooth end to end digital product enhancement.• Ensure the WorkSafe public websites provide up to date information, function well and are presented in a way which is engaging, inclusive, accurate and user friendly for members of the public.• Provide expert information and advice through coaching and leadership to support team members maintain a high level of technical expertise to overcome business, client, stakeholder and design challenges• Engage with stakeholders to identify website related projects, acting as a subject matter expert applying project management methodologies to gain commitment from stakeholders, influence timelines and outcomes.• Guide, advise and explain digital roadmaps to executive leaders providing information to ensure awareness and strategic alignment.• Facilitate collaboration through engagement with stakeholders to review research, understand problems, validate solutions, document functional and technical requirements and prioritise effectively.• Manage the website content change management process, ensuring the appropriate approval is received from management, executive or ministerial level prior to publication.• Provide guidance and effective decision making in order to unblock challenges faced by the product delivery team that provides technical support for WorkSafe’s public websites• Act as a subject matter expert who encourages innovative thinking amongst the Digital Operations team and makes a positive contribution to a community of practice
