About William Aucant
Je suis architecte diplomé d’état (DE) et urbaniste. Je prépare actuellement une thèse en Architecture sur "Les villes légères" un concept souhaitant révéler des conditions qui simplifieraient le quotidien des habitants en ville.De mes expériences à Paris (fr), Rotterdam (nl) et Berlin (de), j'ai développé une pratique de l'architecture, de l'urbanisme et du paysage enrichie d'une culture européenne.Après plusieurs années à l'étranger et l’agrandissement de la famille, nous avons décidé de nous installer et travailler à Nantes, une ville pleine de promesses quant à son développement social et écologique pour les décennies à venir.En 2019, j'ai été tiré au sort pour participer à la Convention Citoyenne pour le Climat (CCC). J'ai participé aux travaux du groupe thématique "Se Loger" notamment sur les questions de rénovation thermique des bâtiments et de limite à l'étalement urbain. J'ai été vice-président de l'association "les 150" à sa création. J'en suis maintenant simple adhérent mais continue de défendre activement les travaux de la convention en tant qu'animateur des thématiques liées à l'habitat.Lors de cette expérience nouvelle de démocratie participative, je suis devenu un des porte-paroles de la question climatique. J’ai organisé des rendez-vous appelés “clim’apero” pour parler directement et localement du climat et je souhaiterais continuer à transmettre mon point de vue et expériences sur le sujet dans les 10 ans à venir.Ma compagne et moi avons deux enfants et nous effectuons la quasi intégralité de nos déplacements en train et en vélo dans un souci permanent de réduction de notre empreinte carbone. J’ai à ce titre renoncé définitivement à prendre l’avion et je cherche à me nourrir de la façon la plus locale possible.Je parle couramment l’anglais et j’ai une maîtrise courante de l’allemand.Websitehttp://continuum.tumblr.com/
