The M Award Foundation (www.themawards.org):This foundation is associated with Mission Athletecare as well as several professional athletes such as Mia Hamm, Serena Williams, Dwight Howard and Dwayne Wade. My position included operating, handling and assessing an information system database of thousands of applicants for the M Award scholarship. Once I collected the information each week, I organized it and compiled a Word summary of the most qualified applicants, which I then sent to the administrators of the scholarship. Free Think U (www.freethinku.com):My role in Free Think U was mainly as a consultant, course editor, focus group member and as a national representative at various events (including two Conservative Political Action Conferences in Washington, DC). Other Special Projects:My wife and I have helped host and coordinate multiple fundraiser concerts. At these concerts, we have hosted several hundred people and have raised over $10,000. Throughout my employment with Helixx Partners, I have attained valuable education in typical business processes like project management/coordination, transcribing meeting agendas and business communication and research. This company encourages entrepreneurial dreams and ideas from individuals around the world, and has consequently helped me innovate and dream even amidst the mundane day-to-day tasks.

During my short time with Southern Exposure, I led teams of three or four in various hardscape and landscape projects. I interacted with multiple customers on a daily basis and learned how to cater well to differing styles in a manual-work environment.

My tasks in the administrations office at Montreat College included utilizing Excel to operate the school's filing system and to monitor, adjust and organize bill payments. I also retrieved fresh mountain water from a local spring and became quite proficient at making coffee.
