I am a writer and filmmaker with many years of experience. I have produced live shows all over the U.S. and in Europe. I host an interview-based television show on WYPL-TV. I have produced the Blues Music Awards show since 1998, and the Mississippi Salute to the Grammys since 2006. I have written and produced many documentaries which have aired on local and regional Public Television. I have written and produced films and written text for the Cotton Museum, The Elvis Presley Birthplace Museum, the Biloxi Lighthouse, The Tunica RiverPark, Gateway to the Blues Museum, the Memphis Wonders series, The Blues Hall of Fame, and many other institutions.In 2011, I produced my first feature film, One Came Home, a piece set in the post war South. I give lectures on a variety of subjects ranging from Southern Culture to Blues Music to documenting personal stories.
