William set up EPC ASSOCIATES early in 2009 with fellow director Matt White, offering a wide range of building consultancy services to the Scottish property and construction industries. They have successfully established EPC ASSOCIATES as a niche player within the Scottish commercial property scene.

William joined one of the UK’s leading surveying practices and was awarded promotion to Associate Director in March 2006. The client base consisted of “blue chip” property investors and developers, and the focus of work was in the office, hotel and retail sectors. William was responsible for delivering project management services for fit out and refurbishment works, alongside construction monitoring on behalf of project funders and providing due diligence advice for property acquisitions.

William commenced employment with CB Richard Ellis as a Surveyor and was promoted to Senior Surveyor in 2001. CB Richard Ellis is a global leader in real estate consultancy. The profile of work and client base was similar to Savills.

William started his career with Doig & Smith after graduating from University.
