Assist students and faculty in accessing their accounts and basic usage of computers and applications in a 70 plus computer Learning Center.

Provide public service to the general public while they are using the library computers. Assist patrons in the use of MS Office 2007 and 2003 products, setting up and using web email accounts, saving data to various media, scanning photos and documents in addition to other general computing issues. Develop and teach computer classes to the public from computer basics to intermediate level MS Word and Excel. More than 18 separate computer classes developed teaching more than 800 people in more than 100 classes. Function as team leader in the scheduling of five staff members within the department.

Provide public service at the reference and reader's advisory desks. Keep current on the reference collection (print, non-print and equipment), and the circulating collection. Assist patrons with use of computerized databases and internet sources. Assist patrons with the use of library equipment (computers, printers, microfilm readers and copiers.) Instruct patrons in library use and research methods. ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Assist teaching public computer classes. Assist in providing materials monthly for homebound patron. Write monthly library column for Chamber of Commerce Newsletter. Edit library links for Christian and Inspiration books.

Created and implemented supplier certification processes with major suppliers; created methodology to calibrate supplier and in-house gauging and fixtures; maintained and monitored continuous improvement systems. ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Coordinated and resolved supplier quality issues with product engineering, purchasing and suppliers.Facilitated problem-solving teams with all levels of the organization. Developed and issued work procedures and trained operations personnel in their use and implementation.
