Building and foundation design of large scale construction projects including Johnsonville Cogeneration Project, TN (7months), and the Riverside Energy Center Expansion Project, WI (9months). At AECOM, I worked directly under multiple PE's who taught me a great deal about the design of buildings and foundations. I created many project specifications, designed foundations to include seismic analysis based on SDC D, designed 75 and 95-ton crane girders, and aided with the design of Combustion Turbine and Steam Turbine buildings. This work advanced my analytical skills with STAAD.Pro, Mathcad, AutoCAD, and Excel.One of the most challenging aspects of power design was working alongside mechanical and electrical engineers to assure that all of the pieces in the puzzle fit together adequately. This process took months, but taught me a very valuable lesson in detailing. I learned to collaborate with multiple teams in order to issue a cost-effective and perfectly designed structure.

On-site structural steel and bolting inspections, as well as office engineering and quality assurance engineering tasks on the Hudson Yard Project. These inspections include safety, serviceability, storage, and other specific structural steel and bolt knowledge from AISC 14th Ed. I am certified by the International Code Council as a Special Inspector. The office engineering tasks I perform are excel spreadsheets for open items, daily report writing and filing, and revising erection, bolting, and anchor bolt drawings to meet requirements. Quality assurance engineering is required when bolts, studs, or any issues with the fabrication of the steel exists, and specific measures are to be performed carefully.

I assisted the recitation mentor with class lectures, workshops, and grading assignments. I was able to communicate with students by explaining approaches to complicated problems. This has allowed me to grow as a teacher, mentor, and individual. Mentoring gave me the ability to simplify the approach methodology of challenging Calculus problems. I learned a great deal about communication and responsibility through peer mentoring.

The Landing Restaurant is a 4-star restaurant along the Delaware River in New Hope, Pennsylvania. I fulfilled multiple positions during my time there to include; front line expeditor and waiter. These positions have given me the ability to multi-task in a high paced environment. Also, the demand for exceptional customer service is a priority at The Landing and this demand engaged my strong communication skills, as well as the sought after ability of resilience.
