I inspect freight for proper revenue. Using the National Motor Freight Classification, I correct improperly described freight to generate the correct revenue for the shipment. I supervise 15 dock associates to ensure all freight has the correct weight so the proper revenue is generated for each shipment. I provide analysis of freight for specific shippers to the pricing department for price negotiations. I provide information regarding what commodities are shipped and total weight that can be loaded based on freight density. I currently oversee in excess of $1.5 Million dollars annually in additional revenue.

I worked four years as an apprentice in the Electricians Union in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I went out on my own starting in 1984 and have done custom addition and remodel electricial work to this day.

Outside sales representative for specialty chemicals in the hospitality, restaurant, health care, and manufacturing industries. I had to generate new accounts by cold calling new customers at their facilities using weekly and monthly plans and goals. I had to continue to see current customers on a monthly schedule. I provided in service training to customers regarding use applications and proper techniques along with Safety and OSHA Hazard Communication training.

I made sales calls to hospitality, restaurant, and health care facilities selling specialty cleaning and sanitizing products as well as leases of commercial dishwashers.
