My good friend and partner, Jonathan Lopez, and I recently founded Jacobson Lopez PLLC to provide white collar defense, investigations and compliance advice and expertise in a boutique setting. I specialize in FCPA and white-collar defense, investigations and compliance, representing corporations, private equity firms and individuals. I have addressed white collar issues from three key vantage points: in-house counsel, federal prosecutor and private practitioner. I've been the Co-General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at one of the world’s largest oilfield service companies, served as a federal prosecutor, including as Assistant Chief for FCPA Enforcement in the DOJ's Fraud Section and been appointed an independent compliance monitor. My practice now includes representing companies in front of the DOJ and SEC, providing compliance counsel to companies and private equity firms, representing companies before the sanctions boards of multilateral development banks and representing individuals in FCPA and other white collar investigations. I've worked in more than 50 countries over the course of my career and try to bring a truly global perspective to client challenges.
