Senior I/T Project Manager for Medtronic Managed Care Services. Perform project management for multiple small, medium, and large information systems projects across the home telehealth group. Led teams of all sizes throughout the project lifecycle and strived to maintain good team dynamics and chemistry. Responsible for the project budget, scope, timelines, milestones, and objectives. Performed project management for information systems projects within various business units and platforms.Worked as the Quality Manager for the IT Strategy Managed Services Program partnership with vendor. Facilitated all of the quality gates and validated all the criteria was met and agreed upon before allowing the teams to move to the next stage gates.Managed an enterprise wide project to automate existing business processes across multiple ERP systems and the customer’s new SAP system. The 18 month project had a budget of $750k which was reduced by $500k through partnering with both the customer and business units to an agreeable solution. Led a project with a budget of $822K to upgrade all Windows XP workstations to Windows 7 for the Cargill Plant Controls Group and the Cargill Grain business units at their 150+ locations. This kept the business current with supported versions of the software and in compliance with the vendor licensing. Led the Quickscan project within the Food Ingredients division to identify I/T risks at each business unit’s manufacturing plants and terminals. This project was to assist them with prioritizing future project work where the risk was high.

Acted as the primary contact for any customers requesting to transmit or receive EDI transactions with the Food Ingredients business units. This provided a central contact for the business and our customers for all EDI requests. Managed all legacy systems EDI projects to ensure requirements were met and processes performed as designed. Worked with the SAP solution team to make sure any newly created functionality remained when the business unit moved to the new SAP system. Led and managed the effort to develop a third party relationship between Cargill and OB10 for EDI invoice transactions. Ensured the contract documents were validated with the legal team and tax departments. This helped improve relationships with the requesting customers and allowed business to expand with the new functionality.

Application Owner - FISNA Business Intelligence Systems (2008 – 2010)Maintained the yearly budgets for the applications, kept all of the applications running as expected and made sure all agreed upon support service levels were met or exceeded. Created and maintained disaster recovery plans for the applications, audited risk, and implemented controls needed for the applications to minimize risk to the business.Performed business analysis for projects and provided support to the business intelligence applications that used Oracle and MS SQL Analysis Services.Application Owner - Horizon Milling and America’s Malting ERP systems (2006 – 2008) Maintained the yearly budgets for the applications, kept all of the applications running as expected and made sure all agreed upon support service levels were met. Created and maintained disaster recovery plans for the applications, audited risk, and implemented controls needed for the applications to minimize risk to the business.Provided 24x7 applications support to maintain service levels agreed upon and satisfy the customer’s expectations while assuring that there was no business impact.
