I was responsible for guests from all countries of the world. Safety and comfort of every guest were the main tasks of this position. This involved greeting guests, providing services and information, and communicating with all other employees about any possible problem that arose anytime to maintain safety and comfort for all guests.

Chicago

My duties entail maintaining the order of law firm files, copying and scanning documents, and searching law firm databases for the current status of any of the many cases being adjudicated by the firm's lawyers. Putting away and finding documents is a large part of my duties. Anything else needed to be done is also part of my responsibilities. Diligence is considered with every action undertaken, no matter the task, to make sure Mr. Oltman can ensure his clients are protected at all times.

Chicago Water Tower

I sold items to customers from all walks of life and countries in many departments of the loud and fast-paced Water Tower Macy's department store on North Michigan Avenue. The departments I worked in were mainly candy, women's watches, many of the men's departments, luggage, and housewares. All areas required quick learning of new products and new brand names. Flexibility and learning in conjunction with professional behavior were intrinsic to the job description. Also, having near native-level German language skills allowed me to present a very positive impression of the store to customers from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Lichtenstein, Awareness of all customers for customer service and loss prevention at all times was demanded from the time I entered the store to the time I left. These are skills I use all the time both at work and in private.

I attended to the pivotal smaller affairs that allowed the attorneys to provide the services that a professional corporation must provide. My contribution to the firm kept the lawyers from being distracted from things too valuable for their expensive time. Professional errands of all types were handled in a professional manner for any reason Ms. Wein felt was needed for her accident insurance law practice. No task was too small as everything contributed to the big picture of her job and her fiduciary obligations. Everything was important for some reason when she assigned me a task.

Greater Chicago Area

This position required a great deal of instinct along with sales skills. I was required to take a lot of Anti-Money Laundering training online to insure that the sources of the customer's money were from legally obtained means. Constant customer contact, both corporate and private, sharpened my awareness to questionable and illegal transactions according to all applicable Anti-Money Laundering laws required by the U.S. Treasury. Vigilance was demanded at all times to ensure that all FISA, PATRIOT ACT, OFAC, and all other anti-money laundering and anti-terror financing measures were enforced.

Frankfurt Am Main Airport

This position involved buying, selling, and researching customer information at the busy Frankfurt International Airport. Instinct and verification with all customers helped ensure that money transactions were safe in the hectic and potentially risky environment of Terminals 1 and 2 of this airport. Constant scrutiny and precise questioning of customers allowed me to utilize the data banks at my disposal along with making copies of passenger passports. Vigilance was required with every transaction to fight money laundering and terror financing. I had a very large data bank of possible money launders, drug dealers, and terror financiers whose names were suspected to be involved in converting illegal funds into laundered, clean, and legal money.
