- Complete reorganization of Cavaliers C.C. Greens Department budgeting process and expense recording that included setup of a computerized TRIMS program; a program designed to facilitate monitoring of payroll, financial, pesticide and fertilizer records. During initial restructuring I was able to redistribute over $175,000.00 to the Greens Operating Budget for the 2005 fiscal year.- Initiated a schedule for Capital Equipment Replacement that included the purchase of 58,500.00 in Experience (Cont.) capital equipment in 2005 and setup of a 118,000.00 capital lease with John Deere for 2006.- In-house renovation of Cavalier’s irrigation system which included retrofitting current system with Toro’s 800 series irrigation heads and in coordination with John Deere upgrading the control system to Hunter’s Surveyor Control System.- In coordination with the Greens Committee development of a Tree Master Plan. During the winter of 2005 over 80 plus trees were removed to improve the health of weak turf with an additional 70 trees removed in 2006. 95% of this work was done in-house.- Development of Employee Handbook that included Golf Course Job Descriptions and Equipment Training Guide.- Successfully completed negotiations with DDA, DNMC, DNREC and DRBC in which Cavaliers Country Club was cleared of fines because of previous lack of reporting.- Complete restructuring of Cavaliers C.C. horticulture program that included the renovation and addition of over 30 gardens, construction of 2 Vermont Granite stonewalls and 2 Koy ponds.- Installation of over 15 acres of native areas in 2005 and an additional 5 plus acres in 2006.- Recontouring of over 25 acres of fairways, 4 acres of greens, and 2 acres of tees.
