This position marks a shift away from my former retrofit and multi-discipline experience and toward a new construction business, which brings with it additional demands in cost efficiency and consistently executing with first-time quality.

Project Management in primarily retrofit construction, with projects ranging in duration between six and eighteen months. Disciplines managed include HVAC, mechanical, lighting, water conservation, electrical and building automation/controls. Background also includes controls application programming on multiple platforms and physical controls installation.- Responsible for driving execution of project scope and ensuring the quality and completion of deliverables;- Coordinate and manage multiple work disciplines working concurrently in occupied facilities;- Coordinate the process for inspections and acceptance by authorities having jurisdiction at the City, County and State levels, or by third-party commissioning agents;- Manage communications between customer, internal and external stakeholders;- Negotiation of subcontract scope and pricing;- Manage project budgets, including forecasting revenue and expenses throughout the duration of the project, and developing customer billings;- Assist customer IT departments with implementing IP interfaces to building automation systems, including dedicated VLANs, virtual machines and remote access;- Assist in resolving technical issues with first-party hardware and software, as well as third-party platform integrations;- Provide on-site installation guidance while ensuring quality and code compliance.
