Responsible for the indirect origination and syndication of equipment leases and loans. ATEL is a $3 billion, privately-held equipment lessor with an emphasis on large-ticket transactions in the rail, transportation, mining, manufacturing, energy and maritime sectors. Partner with national and regional banks, independent lessors, vendor/captives, consultants for buy and sell production. Highest volume producer in 9 of 10 years at company. Generated substantial fee income through network of syndication partners.

Managed a team of (10) Sales and Capital Markets professionals to originate and syndicate equipment leases and loans. Direct report to CEO. Worked directly with Legal, Credit, Equipment, Contract Management Departments on all facets of business. Helped to create a sophisticated network of institutional partners for the Capital Markets sector including banks. independent lessors, insurance companies, private equity funds, vendor captives, brokers and consultants. Actively coached and participated team of direct sales professionals on fundamentals of credit analysis, sales techniques, deal structures, pricing (Super TRUMP, Excel, HP), lease fundamentals of accounting (FAS/IFRS), tax and legal T's and C's. Responsible for SalesForce metrics of calls, contacts, pipeline, production. Conducted face-to-face client meetings to secure lease commitments. Responsible for content and execution of company-wide National Sales meetings, created incentive compensation plans, created decks and marketing material, bolstered contact database via Capital IQ, Hoover's, Standard and Poor's and other sources.

Responsible for direct sales origination of equipment finance products including loans, capital and operating leases. Worked directly with Fortune 1000 companies and middle-market companies. Originated transactions in the food, retail, logistics and transportation industries. Engaged in cross-sell partnerships with Commercial Bankers, Investment Bank, Treasury Management, Real Estate, PCard and other Key partners.

Helped established equipment leasing cross-sell platform between WFEF and (100) bankers, commercial loan officers, business deposit consultants in Central and Northern California with Well's Business Banking Group. Handled origination of equipment leases and loans finance including credit analysis, pricing, lease structuring through completion of funding. Targeted primarily middle-market companies in the transportation, manufacturing, food production, electronics and retail industries Presidents Club
