Responsible for strategic development and implementation of product enhancements and product initiation. Leads and manages a team of 12 professional Project Managers. Team is primarily business focused and specializes in IT programs and projects of varying complexity. The team takes projects through the SDLC and is responsible from initiation all the way through development and implementation. During this process, they must make critical decisions to identify, mitigate and resolve any risks and issues that threaten the project. They must focus on removing obstacles for the project team and manage them through their individual task items. Second major project as a project manager was to coordinate and streamline business validation due to the merger of AIG Direct and Farmers Insurance. During separation from AIG, ensured that all system changes being made were thoroughly validated and that issues were effectively communicated and resolved in a timely fashion.
