As a Field Superintendent for West Coast Flooring, I manage all daily site operations within my region, working with the general contractor staff and subcontract installers to ensure West Coast Flooring is performing on time, accurately, profitably, and with the quality of installation that we have come to expect in our 20+ years of business. I plan, direct, coordinate, and monitor the project, as well as acting as the quality control for all means, methods, and final finish quality, keeping in line with industry standards. I also act as a technical POC, troubleshooting and problem solving flooring and tile solutions with the general contractor as needed. I review project proposals and plans to determine time frame, scope of work, and procedures for accomplishing project and available resources. I also work with the GC to negotiate and track contract changes, RFIs, ASIs, and change orders. Lastly I ensure compliance with both GC and internal policies, procedures, and safety plans. Working with an emphasis on experience, quality, and safety to install per the project plans and specifications to ensure GC and Owner satisfaction.

As a Project Manager at Sterling, I work in a dynamic role servicing both our painting and concrete divisions. In this duel-specialty role, I work directly with our teams of painters and cement masons to ensure the scope of work is done to plan, in a strategic and timely manner, and to the satisfaction of the GC as we work on both our large scale commercial buildings, as well as high-end custom residential projects. I work as a bridge between our tradesman and ownership, and act as an on site representative for the company to the GC. I also manage multiple sites, with multiple crews and work with ownership to assign, direct, manage, and coordinate resources between sites. I also partner with senior management to coach and support leadership development of all Team Leads department wide. This requires a strong business acumen, as well as skillset in leadership development, as well as coaching and teaching leaders operational inefficiency identification, data analytics, planning and prioritization, creative problem solving, identifying and curating internal talent, performance management, business partner collaboration, and executing highly effective change management strategies that stay in line with strict and ever changing government regulations in order to be more effective in their role and better support their teams, projects, and the department as a whole.

Our team of leaders and auditors worked to provide curated data for individual contributors, as well as coaching and development strategy for department leaders in order to help them improve core processes, strategically optimize with technology solutions, provide critical performance management metrics, and manage resource creation and improvement. I also have ownership of ensuring the Quality Team is top of class, and supported and developed in all aspects of leadership development, business analytics, and quality control functions. Additionally I partnered with senior business partners to utilize our macro data findings to support and identify a clear understanding of the business and technical opportunities, in order to prioritize black and tackle initiatives and support the growth and development of people, processes, and technology to all of Regulatory Operations.
